Demonstrating their versatility they deliver a wide range of tracks from the classics of Queen, AC/DC and U2, right up to modern day tunes from The Hoosiers, The Feeling & Kings of Leon in their own individual and unique style, providing something to suit every musical taste.

LIONSTAR
Lionstar is an twenty-first century Reggae six piece, fusing Reggae with Rock and World music. From the UKs Southwest, Lionstar perform a stellar mix of originals and classics, and are highly regarded throughout the industry, regularly rubbing shoulders on stage with the greats, from UB40, Aswad, Bad Manners, Soul II Soul, Happy Mondays and even the legendary Lee Scratch Perry to name just a few!
Mixing classic Reggae with innovative Dub, pumping Funk, doleful Soul and etherial World music, all driven by phat hypnotic bass set beneath high-octaine lead guitars and sabre-sharp drums, producing a soundscape for the soulful vocals of Ron Unity, makes this band one of the UKs rising Stars. Make no mistake. The Lion will roar!

TURNETTE DOONE
From Queen and Gerry Rafferty to The Kaiser Chiefs, Pink Floyd, U2 and The Who!
Somerset-based Turnette Doone is a four-piece rock band covering everything from the sixties to the present day. A powerful and familiar set from a South-west favourite – We don’t know what the name means but we think it might be an ancient celtic term for ‘loud’!
Adrian Stoodley is vocals, electric and acoustic guitars & blues harp, Adrian Brain on vocals, keyboards & sax, Chris Mooney vocals & bass, and Ray Gardner on drums.
MAD FERRET BAND
All the way from bonnie Scotland, this high-energy duo have been persuaded to come down to CokerFest to add a bit of Celtic madness to the night!
The Mad Ferret Band are known on the Scottish music scene for their hard hitting blend of traditional and contemporary folk music with a twist! Their lively, energetic performances are packed with blisteringly fast mandolin solos, tight vocal harmonies, driving Cajon beats and earth-moving guitar sounds.
The Mad Ferrets supercharge influences from classic folk acts such as The Corries and The Dubliners, as well as contemporary tunes from composers like Gordon Duncan & Ross Ainsley. This, plus the constant onslaught of touring, provides the inspiration for their original tunes & songs. Yes, most of their songs are about alcohol, so if you don’t like drinking you’d better like dancing!
They are an extremely hard working band, performing an average of 180 gigs a year in intimate venues, cavernous concert halls & frantic festivals, both at home and abroad, and features Chris Woods on Mandolin, Guitar and Vocals and Sandy Stirton on Guitar, Cajon and Vocals.
Notable gigs include: Live performance on BBC Radio Scotland, Danny Kyle Stage at Celtic Connections, Perth Concert Hall, Northern Roots Festival, Montrose Music Festival, Mull Music Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Oran Mor, DingsDo Festival – Italy & multiple European tours.
Also, The Mad Ferrets have been invited to warm up the stage for renowned acts such as Dougie MacLean, Skerryvore & Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

Consummate professionals LiveWired perform hits from a wide range of artists in various genres from Bon Jovi, Greenday, Kaiser Chiefs, Rolling Stones, Guns n Roses, AC/DC, Queen, Kings of Leon, Status Quo, Weezer, Dandy Warhols, Foo Fighters, Killers, Led Zep, Free, Wheatus, U2, The Police…… What’s not to love?!
A five-piece party rock band from the Somerset, LiveWired originally formed from the roots of the popular local band Crosswired, and the aim is to provide an awesome full-on rock-out that will get you on your feet and wiggling your own thing!
MICROLIGHT
MicroLight are a young, highly regarded and talented indie rock band based out of Yeovil. Made up of Matt Doble on lead vocals, Bob Osborn on lead guitar, Paulo Oliveira on bass, Andrew Powell-Thomas on keys and Luke De Pasquale on drums, the boys combine a mix of classic modern cover tracks, with some top quality song writing of their own. The boys have built up a wealth of gigging experience through the bars, pubs and clubs of the South West, and put on a stunning show wherever they play. Specialising in a wide range of covers from artists such as the Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Oasis and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the boys are available for bookings for gig nights, private functions and weddings.
